Hi Buddy,
I know they were excellent radios but I accidentally deprogrammed the 470 when I was entering tones to put repeater into Net Mode.
I have no idea what I did. I never used the radio again because I don't know what I did wrong.
My husband wasn't too happy when he had to reprogram it.
It is a very durable HT and I think it would be good for those who have one to keep it and use it as long as it works.
