I would be surprised if you have propagation, even near the end of Tom's
operating period. If he was on 20, 15 or 10 it would be a different story.

Good afternoon Tom, I realize that it is quite early, but I have been tuning
around 7189 and haven't heard a squeak from your predecessor, or anyone else
within 15 to 20 KHz. Either your predecessor isn't still on 7189, or we
have no propagation. I sure hope that it isn't the latter possibility. In
any event, I will be listening closely for you when the time comes.
Again good luck.

Subject: W1AW/8 Update

Hi, all.

As a quick update, my friend who is now operating W1AW/8, and who I will be
replacing at 4 p.m. Eastern is operating on 7.18993 MHZ. If he stays on
that frequency, I'd like to use it if at all possible.

I know this may create an issue for the blind ops 40-meter round table,
which is what I was afraid of, but I really hate to give up that frequency,
and have to try to find another one.

I'll keep everyone posted.
