not really on the topic, but, if you happen to end up in raleigh with your Kenwood in tow, I would loave a chance to see it. If there are any in my club who have that radio, most wouldn’t have bothered to put the speech module in it. I am afraid I will sometime be mourning the passing of my ts2000, t is having issues and probably will cos tore to repair than it is worth putting into a radio that is over a decade old and has issues front he start with lousy sensitivity on vhf and uhf.
