I am totally blind also.  My job wasn't electronics related.  I worked in 
Human Resources Management for an aluminum company, Kaiser Aluminum.  I 
started in industrial relations (negotiating with Union reps, handling 
contract administration); then I managed hourly employment at the plant.

I then moved back to Michigan and worked as a Employment and Compensation 
Specialist for a local utility.

I am now retired, and do a smattering of assistive tech training just for 
jollies.
