Isopropyl alcohol is the same thing as rubbing alcohol that you can get at 
any drug store.  The isopropyl that is sold today is 70% isopropyl by 
weight, the remaining 30% is water.  The water should not be a problem since 
you only dampen a lint free cloth to do your cleaning.

If you want to do a test, dampen a cloth with the alcohol, wipe it on the 
table top and then feel the spot a minute or so later and it will be dry. 
Do the same with water and the table will still be wet after several 
minutes.  The idea is to clean with the alcohol, not saturate with it.
