Ah the usual customer service from AES.  I thought it was local.  You'd
think they were doing you a favor by selling you something.

Perhaps, but some stores just don't care.  I lived in Vegas for ten years
and was a regular at a e s there.  When I bought my 590 I called and asked
them and they flat refused.  They knew me of course and I gave them
permission to open the box and they flat said no, so I went elsewhere. 
These were hams I talked to in person every couple weeks or so.  Go
figure....
