Well, Steve, I have noticed the problem for quite some time, although I 
think it  may have gotten a bit worse recently.

I guess my current plan is to just keep using the rig as is, since I can 
make the speaker work if I properly seat the plug in the jack, and just 
leave things alone.

If I'm going to send the rig in, I'd almost rather wait until I have another 
reason to do so, which hopefully won't be for a while.

Then again, if the problem does continue to worsen, I may just have to bite 
the bullet and get the repair taken care of.

At least I have a back-up rig to use if needed.
