unfortunately I didn't work anything on field day. Usually I just spin
around and give a contact to the loudest stations I can hear...I did spin
around the bands once or twice and heard lots of big loud stations.
However, I had to replace my vehicle's alternator and that took up most of
saturday...then I was pretty wiped saturday night, and was busy this morning
again...so all and all, I heard a few stations but didn't work any.
I usually go out to our club station at least for the barbecue, but I didn't
get out there either lol.
sounds like it was a pretty good year for it though with all of the bands
being open to one extent or other.
Is it just me, or has 6 meters been open allot more this year than last or
the last couple? maybe it's simply because I am paying attention to it
now...but it seems like it has been open every other day lately.
