Hi all,
My name is Zach, and I'm a ham radio newbie. I am currently in the
process of studying for my technician class license, and will be
taking my test next week. I've been working through the tech manual
for a month or so now, and am greatly looking forward to obtaining my
license.
I guess my first question for the list is this. Is there anything I
should do, know, or have prepared going in for the test, being totally
blind?
What's the procedure for taking the test itself? Would it be ok to
ask my y-l to write down my answers, or will one of the test admins
transcribe it?
I plan to call the testing site and let them know I'm coming to
eliminate any confusion that might happen, but I wanted to write the
list first to see what I need to do to prepare myself as best as
possible.
Thanks. I look forward to getting to know all the folks on this list,
and enjoying some great radio talk.

Zach
