Hi All,
I'm interested in hearing about people's experiences with Google Docs on
Windows, tips that make the experience easier. I've used Docs in the
past, and I remember thinking that, while the experience of working in a
web app wasn't ideal, it was fairly accessible.
I'm working on a project with someone now, and I'm muddling around a
little. So far, I've pressed enter on the Invitation to Edit link in the
email I received from my collaborator. That opens up the Docs web
interface in Chrome. To open the file, I arrow to it and press the
applications key. At that point, I can start arrowing around the text,
and I can edit by just typing.
Any helpful tips or caveats?
I'm using Windows 10 October 2018, Chrome, Jaws 2019, but I also have
Firefox and NVDA on my system.
Ciao
