ChromeBooks could be manufactured by multiple companies, such as
Samsung, Lenovo and so on. They would be running ChromeOS from Google
though, but I don't find Google to be any more or less committed to
accessibility than many other companies. I use a lot of Google products,
such as Chrome, ChromeVox, Android, Gmail, Google Maps, Google Drive and
so on. I find them all accessible enough to be usable. There are
products and applications from Apple and Microsoft that I run into that
aren't accessible, so I wouldn't rule out something from Google just
because of someone els's preconception about their commitment to
accessibility. I'd get feedback from people who are actually using
ChromeBooks and base your decision on their informed opinions.
