Hi Anna,
Jaws 15 does work with Java. What version of Java are you using?

Subject: [VICUG-L] Java Access Bridge or DownGrading Jaws
Hi All,
I need to use the Java Access bridge to give a presentation on Blackboard.
I've enabled Java Access Bridge in the Ease of Access Center, but things
don't seem to be working. The Blackboard page I need to work with appears to
be blank even with the bridge enabled and even after a system restart. I'm
trying to figure out why, so I have some
questions:
* The Java Access Bridge documentation says Jaws 13 and 14 are the only
supported screen readers. Since I'm using Jaws 15, my first question is
whether Jaws 15 or NVDA are also known to work with it.
* If I need to go back to Jaws 14, do I uninstall Jaws 15, or do I just exit
Jaws 15 before running Jaws 14?
* I'm running Windows 8.1. does anyone know if the bridge will work.
Since I was able to check it in Ease of Access, I'm assuming it should, but
just wondering ...
Thanks for any wisdom.
Ciao
