Ana,
what I'm about to tell you will sound totally odd and I actually 
wondered whether the instructions I found were correct but I verified 
this with three different sites.
the Pages files are actually compressed files.  Rename the file so that 
it has a .zip extension.
Open the .zip file and there should be a quicklook folder.
Open quicklook and there should be a pdf file called Preview. This 
preview file is the actual document.
It sounds like an odd way to save a file but it should work, although I 
haven't tried it personally.  Here is a page with detailed instructions.
