The Engineering Section of the National Library Service for the
Blind and Physically Handicapped, Library of Congress, has posted
a job vacancy announcement for a person who would, at first, be
working with the firmware of the NLS digital talking book player.
This device runs under Linux, with its software written in C and
ARM assembler. For further information, go to
http://www.loc.gov/hr/employment/index.php?action=cMain.showJobs
and search for "Electronics Engineer", read the information, and
then activate the "Application Information" link below it. The
application deadline is October 14.
