I agree with David.  Just to clarify: I do not eat fruit daily - mainly vegetables.  I eat nuts in small amounts, but not daily.  I find I do best on (don't bother attacking me on this) God made fats like lard, coconut oil, butter, olive oil, fats on meats versus industrially made fats like most vegetable oils and all hydrogenated oils. I would keep your fructose intake under 15 grams a day and minimize polyunsaturated fat intake. Basically one piece of fruit. I suspect that many problems people have on "paleo" style diets is eating too much fruit and nuts. Once I mostly cut out fructose and polyunsaturated fats, my diabetic symptoms and rosacea went away.
