Hi Michael
I seem to recall that it is a 600W amplifier and was built around the very
late 60's and certainly into the 70's - maybe later.
KW Electronics was the company of Roley (G8kw).
It started out in Sevenoaks in Kent - about 30 miles south of London and
moved to Dartford which is a more industrial area about 15 miles south-east
from London.
Roley then sold out to Decca and retired to his holiday home on the Isles of
Scilly - just off the south-west corner of England in the eastern Atlantic
in the area between Ireland, France and England.
He died 3-4 years ago I guess.
Anyway, to answer your question.
I don't know the amplifier myself, but know a couple of people who know it
intimately, including Chris who worked for the company until Roley sold to
Decca.
Chris is now very senior in Icom UK, and rather oddly, I re-made his
acquaintance just a couple of months ago as he lives only about 15 miles
from my new QTH.
So, if you send me your queries, I can get them answered.
Apart from this, I understand that there is an active KW discussion forum on
the web.
