if you can afford them. and there are no o my knowledge multi band talkies in the commercial market. so to equal a thf6a you would need 3 of them hanging tom your bet and still not have receive coverage or the ability to change frequency on the fly if necessary. I loved my motor saber when it worked, but it will cos tore to repair than buying a new Kenwood
