Hi, all.

This discussion of how to classify a particular field day operation has now
got me thinking.

Our local club is not going to do its usual field day operation this year,
so I am simply thinking of doing my own field day next week-end from the RV.

But, how do I classsify my station?

I will be operating portable from the RV, since it is not my usual station
location, but, instead of firing up the RV generator, I simply was planning
to run my set-up from the regular power main at the camp ground.

So, would I be 1A or 1E?

I certainly don't want to violate any rules here, nor do I want to
compromise the spirit of the operating event. Nevertheless, I'm not sure I
really want to fire up the RV generator for the entire 24 hours, especially
since the other campers might not appreciate the noise in the middle of the
night. (grin)
