Thanks for all the info Kelvin. Do you know where I can find a cable to run from the computer to the radio with a usb on one end, or do I need to get a converter?
Thanks,
Dan (kb6unc)

Hi Gary and All,
I have the TS-2000 MCP program, and this allows you to backup all of your
TS-2000 settings to a PC. It is also completely accessible, and allows you
to change every setting, including memories, and write them back to the rig.
I believe this is a free program available on the Kenwood downloads page,
and on that basis I'm happy to share if it is needed.
For instance, I used it to set up all the repeaters in my area, including
CTCSS and tones etc, write them to the radio, and now I also have a backup
in case I ever need to perform a reset.
Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

Hi all,
I screwed up my TS-2000 and need to do a full reset. I thought I had =
saved the procedure for doing this. Can anyone share this? Thanks.
