Hi All,

TextAloud is a Windows application that lets you listen to your text
files read with different TTS engines. It was really useful for blind
folks in the days when screen readers didn't allow this functionality.
Now the company is beta testing an app for iOS devices. I'm forwarding
this in case anyone here wants a way to listen to text files in other
voices.

Ciao

Beta Testing TextAloud App for iPhone/iPad

Many TextAloud users enjoy creating audio files on their Windows PC,
then syncing through iTunes for portable listening on an iPod. After
many requests
for a mobile version, NextUp decided to develop a TextAloud app for the
iPhone/iPad. We currently have a beta version ready and are looking for
TextAloud
users who also have an iPhone and/or iPad device and are interested in
beta testing.

If you are interested in being a Beta Tester then please send us an email to

Please specify in the email your name and which type Apple device(s) you
