Hi all,

Every now and then, thunderbird seems to download messages it's already
downloaded. Today, for example, I noticed that I had a lot more messages
than yesterday, and when I scrolled through my various inboxes, I
discovered that I had two of almost every message. This doesn't happen
very often, maybe once every three months or so, and when it does, I
usually get doubles of the messages sent out over the last couple of
days, not the whole inbox.

Why does this happen? How can I prevent it? or how can I get rid of the
duplicates without going through them all manually?

Any thoughts?

ciao
