Ok John. For some reason I thought you had a Kenwood 590, which has
it's own internal sound card and would make another interface
unnecessary, but I was mistaken on that one.
Sorry I'm not familiar with that particular interface. I don't know if
it is anything like the Signal Link USB which has it's own sound chip.
If you don't have 2 sound cards in your pc, using an interface with
it's own sound will make life easier for you since you can't have
screen reader speech going out with your digital transmissions. There
are work arounds, but a second sound device for the digital stuff is
better.
