Hi Tom,
It will be interesting to hear how you get on. I assume the 590 USB
connection assigns a Com Port, but you will use this for the rig control. I
wonder how you then key the 590? Presumably using the same connection, but
what do you tell the N3FJP software? I bet the solution is simple...

Hi, again.
After several attempts, I successfully cleared the previously-mentioned com
port error message from A C Log via the windows task manager, so it looks
like I have now solved my com port message clearing problem.
Now, it's onto figuring out why I'm getting the com port error, and what to
do about it.
I'll get this right yet. (smile)
