Hey guys,
I'm looking for a portable, preferably ht sized and belt clip
attachable, scanner.
I've already got my baofeng ht for ham use, but I'm looking for
something relatively small, inexpensive, and portable for scanning vhf
and uhf emergency frequencies.
If it was accessible, that'd be nice, but once I get it programmed, I
won't need to program it again.
I just landed a gig monitoring fire frequencies for a contractor who
does damage repair on buildings that have had fires or been damaged by
vehicle crashes, so I need a portable scanner.
I've got an old radio shack pro 2023 in my shack, but I need something
I can use on the go... and we all know how terrible the baofeng is at
scanning.
