I got Batteries Plus to replace the soldered in pack on my
Braille n Speak and more recently, my old voicenote. It cost
around $55 for the Voicenote, only took several hours while we
waited, and saved a bundle of money and time over what HumanWare
would have charged. 73, Jim WA6EKS

Subject: OT: braille lite 40 batteries

I have 2 Braille Lite 40s, one of which I use in the shack for =
notetaking. I also use these for notes when I speak or preach.
They're =
both in great shape except that they need new batteries. I
suspect that =
they are old enough to have the packs soldered in. Do you know
of =
anyone who does work on such things and can replace these
batteries? If =
possible, I'd like to avoid going through FS but there may be no
=
alternative. Thanks and 73. Lou WA3MIX
