Andrew,
It depends on where you get your training. If the teacher is into the
spiritual aspects of Yoga, especially yoga, and the same could be true with
all other forms of marshal arts, then I personally, as a Christian would not
be involved. Many years ago I found a book that just listed several Yoga
exercises without using any spiritual applications or explanations. I used
the daily exercising for some time and found it very helpful. Yet, you will
find other Christians who disagree dogmatically that it is all unholy and
ungodly. My son got his black belt at age 17 and now is an instructor and
has his 3RD degree black belt. He's trained and sparred with many
instructors, some also Christians, and the westernized training never
includes any spiritual training with the physical aspect of the body
building.
Phil.
