I had recommended Magic for this person since it does track along with JAWS (even though I like Zoomtext better than Magic), but her employer is saying they intend to give her Zoomtext. But this answers my question. I just wanted to be sure there were not any settings in JAWS or Zoomtext that would enable them to work together a little better. Basically, this person just uses JAWS for accessing any kind of text, but she does need magnification in one program that requires her to select cartoon-type images from a grid. I think she will just need to pull up Zoomtext only when she uses that program. I have had some system crash issues, though, so I hope the two aren't conflicting. Back in the day, JAWS and Zoomtext really did not play well together, but maybe now it is not a problem. AiSquared is telling me there is not a problem, but that she does need to open Zoomtext first, and also to close JAWS first.

I am sending to the whole list assuming others might find this interesting or be about to click deleted if not.
I use ZT 9.1 and JAWS 10 at home, the same ZT and JAWS 11 in the office.
To be honest, I use JAWS because I like how it reads much better than how ZT does. I do not actually care about ZT tracking visually while I read. That is, the visual experience is badly enough disrupted because of vision loss that having ZT track visually is not helpful for me. I can do limited reading visually and sometimes use ZT for this if the document is inaccessible or I do not want to change voices for Russian.
I have seen a person or two use JAWS and Magic, Freedom Scientific's screen enlarger. There the voices DOES track visually which it sounds like you might appreciate. The person I was watching do this was a pretty novice user so I could not tell whether work process flow things bugging me were the software or the user.
