Mary Kay,
I myself was born 3 months early and weighed just under 2 pounds. I got
a MRI 6 years ago which showed a bone spur in my neck but no brain
abnormality. Brain MRIs don't always reveal lesions, I was told, and
since I was just under 50 at the time, it was too long since my birth
to really use an MRI in my case to reveal CP.
