Windows 7 does have a Windows XP compatability mode, if that's what
you're asking for. I haven't used it myself, so other than knowing it
exists, I can't help much. BTW, it uses Virtual PC, so you're actually
running a full blown copy of Windows XP in a virtual machine. This may
be a bit much.

I'm also surprised Cute FTP doesn't run in Windows 7. Cute FTP is a
pretty straight forward application, so I'm not sure what would keep it
from running in Windows 7. In fact, according to the Cute FTP FAQ at
http://kb.globalscape.com/KnowledgebaseArticle10520.aspx there are no
known problems running Cute FTP in Windows 7. I suspect you're having
some other problem and resolving that problem might be easier than
running Windows XP in a virtual machine.

I'd also suggest using a more descriptive subject line in the future. If
I'd been checking this from my phone, for example, I would have just
deleted it.
