Hi all,
I've been interested in using voice input for typing because one of my
wrists gets achy when I spend a lot of time at the computer, which is
often.
I'd like to hear from those of you who use voice input on windows with
your screen reader. What software do you use, and what tips can you offer?
I set up the Microsoft voice recognition on my windows 8.1 machine, but
the results are pretty bad. I'm sure they'll improve over time, but
right now, they're so bad, even with a headset, that it's just quicker
and easier to type.
I've heard about the J-Say scripts, but I've also heard they're buggy,
so I'd rather not use them. I've heard that Dragon can be used with a
screen reader, sans scripts, but I haven't found much specific
information about how that works and how good the results are.
Thanks for any wisdom.
Ciao
