The process for uninstalling programs from Windows 8.1 is very similar 
to the way things are done in Windows 7.

1. Press Windows+X to get into a menu of useful items.

2. Arrow to and press enter on Programs and Features.

3. Arrow to the program you want to uninstall. You can also use 
first-letter navigation.

4. Press the context key, and press enter on Uninstall.

5. Follow any prompts.
