Hi all,
Harry here, and I'm using a Mac Mini, running OS10.9 Maverics.
Well, while I love the responsiveness of the Mac, windows cannot touch the
quick responsiveness of a Mac), voice over is no better on the Mac is, as
far as locking up and freezing up.
I was just getting some email caught up, and I was reading through a
message, and voice over locked up, no speech, no matter what I did.
I did all the things Mac folks recommend to do.
I press command f5, and voice over would not speak.
So then, I pressed control option s and it would not speak at all.
So, I had to do something that I thought I'd never have to do on a Mac, and
that is, do a hard shut down, by pressing in the power button, and the
computer shut off.
So, folks, it's not better than windows for locking up and freezing up, and
you get no speech.
Everything else is much more responsive than windows is, however!
