I have a Chrome Book and it is the neatest little system, but the TTS interface feels a bit clunky and it is difficult to locate files you have in the cloud. I know a sighted user that loves his Chrome book but reports the same issue for sighted users. Of course for us using AT the difficulty is a matter of degrees or level of difficulties we encounter. Bottom line is I do not use it and handed it off to another staff member to use. You do have to be willing to work with yet another different interface.

Subject: [VICUG-L] how accessible are Chromebooks, Google Docs Google Drive

Hi Listers,

Are anybody using Chromebooks, Google Docs, Google Drive? Curious how accessible they are for blind and low vision users?
Thanks!
