I'm hoping there's someone out there who can help me with a problem. My
husband created a folder of songs which he will eventually burn to a disk
for a friend. He's using Windows XP, Winamp 5.61. He wants the songs to play
in a specific order and, oddly enough, Winamp plays them in that order when
we use the "play folder" command, shift-l. I can't seem to duplicate that
order in Explorer, though--sorting by date just sorts by the date and time
of the file's creation, not the date and time of the copying into the
separate folder. Why, then, will Winamp play the songs in the order of
copying, the order we want, and how, then, can I make a playlist in that
order, preferably without having to write the file names manually? Any help
to solve even a part of this mystery would be appreciated.
