You can still purchase Symbian based phones, with a standard phone keypad, 
and run the Talks or MobileSpeak screen reader on it.  Much less costly 
than the KNFB Reader.

They would be able to do everything on the phone that they wanted to do, 
including reading and adding contacts, texting, emailing, calendar, even 
web browsing.
