I doubt that the interaction between a vertical and the dipole will be that
significant, since it is not really much metal in the path, particularly if
you are near the centerpoint of the dipole where the impedence is low.
I guess the way to know for sure is to find somebody who has antenna
modeling software on their computer and they can run your scenario.
