Christoph,
I wasn't aware that you could use dtmf tones on a dStar repeater. Do you
have a list of those?

Subject: AW: DStar and other Internet based modes
Hi,
I only got into DStar in mid July using an ICE-92D HT. I actually had a
sighted ham program the radio for me, but will be exploring the programming
software that came with the RT-Systems interface.
Once you are up and running, DStar is actually a fun mode for blind hams,
too. More and more DTMF commands are introduced, making DStar repeaters even
more accessible to us than ever before.
At Icom America, they are aware of the fact that blind hams would like more
accessibility built into DStar radios. That's the impression I got when I
interviewed Ray Novak at the Dayton Ham Vention.
I am still learning myself, but once I know a little more about DStar, I
intend to send another message to the list to explain things.
73,
Christoph
