Hi Ron,
Radio Shack sold a wireless outlet that could be operated with a remote at
one time. It also gave control to lights as well. The other thought was to
take the line out to the dock and put a timer at it's feed point. The above
outlets would have to be put into a weatherhead box. 73. Gary KB2YAA .

Subject: Wireless remote controlled power outlet
Fellow hams, I am searching for a wireless remote controlled power AC
outlet. I can find lots of wireless remote controlled power outlets, but
not with the specs I am looking for. Specifically, it needs to be able to
handle a minimum of 20 amps at 120 VAC, and a transmit/receive distance of
at least 100 feet and preferably more. It must also be designed for outdoor
use. I have looked everywhere and cannot find one with these specs. Does
anyone here have any recommendations of where I can find one?
I want to be able to turn a water pump on & off remotely from the back of
my house. The pump is located on my dock, and I am using it to pump water
from the lake to a sprinkler system I built to irrigate my lawn.
Any suggestions???
