Here is a follow-up to a thread from 3 weeks ago. The latest version
of JAWS was reading alpha-numeric text (such as call signs) by
repeating the first character after reading the call sign, when set to
"spell phonetically".

Just got an automatic JAWS update to version 14.0.3005 and this problem
seems to have been resolved.
