What is the radio doing? I have an IC-706 and it was doing strange things
which is why I took it out of the car a couple months back. I managed to fix
it but now it's back to portable/go kit status, I'm not putting the work in
the car to go HF mobile where the car isn't long for this world and I'm
seldom in there long enough to enjoy it anyway.
