Where did you hit 000* to get PL tones? That might actually be useful. In the tone setting menus, * toggles between off, CTCSS and DCS, but near as I can tell, none of the other numbers do anything.

While other places may have it cheaper, the one from Ed will definitely work, I have one, same cable programs all three i.e. Wouxun KG-UVD1/2/3/6, Baofeng UV-5R and TYT.
