I use these little rubber bumpers on computer keyboard, all of my ham radio
equipment, microwave oven and I put them on top of my ham radio to keep the
LDG and RFA P2000 from sliding backward etc.  I seldom ever have one to
fall off.  I think you can get them from most places that sell to the
blind.  They come in different sizes and shapes.

Perhaps the little stick on dots that they have in home stores as picture
frame bumpers etc.  They have peel off backing with sticky on them.  Work
pretty well for identifying things.
