I am not sure what I changed, but my 590 will not talk with the 
synthesizer when transmitting.  I have the f2 key set to 202 which says 
should read the meter when tramsmitting and I know I use to read processor 
as well as swr.  Doesn't speak at all.  Any suggestions?
