Hi Rob,
Well, I was blessed with getting an auto tuner that works pretty well. I
was trying to use it on 80 meters. So, that is a major test for about any
tuner.
One antenna style you may wish to try is the mobile antenna on a t mag
mount. You will need a counterpoise with it. However, it may give you the
best range in the smallest package.
O, I almost forgot, the higher in frequency you go, the better small
antennas like mobiles perform.
God bless,
Mark

I=E2=80=99m about to re-enter the hf world. I=E2=80=99m in an apartment=
and, of course, I=E2=80=99m puzzled about anttnnas. It seems I=E2=80=99ll=
have to deal with an external antenna tuner to use almost any multi-band a=
rrangement. How dows one operate such an ex ternal tuner as a blind operat=
or?
