Hi Howard, never heard about two Fm modes on the 71a. Also, I
think it's sensitivity goes down a lot up in the 800 MHZ band. I
was trying to listen to a conventional 800 Meg frequency
from Mount Diablo State Park last weekend and could hear it fine
on the scanner but not the 71a. Jim WA6EKS ----- Original

I think their are two fm modes on the tmv-71, I'd like to try.
Maybe 900
mhz isn't 900 after all.
