I won't dwell on this, but my Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law were very,
very strongly opposed to my wife, who is sighted, marrying me, a blind guy.
My Mother-in-law even reported me for child abuse and attempted to take our
Daughter away from us, all because I was blind. We ended up having to go to
our attorney and get a restraining order against my Mother-in-law. It
turned our lives into total hell for quite a long time. However, as the
expression goes, actions speak louder than words, and over the years, based
upon my actions, my Mother-in-law and even my Sister-in-law became my
strongest supporters. Before she died, my Mother-in-law often bragged about
me to the point that it was extremely embarrassing! <lol>
