Right, Steve.  After all, if we are successful at dealing with our own 
blindness, chances are pretty good that if you marry someone who has also 
adjusted well to it and who was the right match for you would be able to 
have a successful relationship.

I'm like you.  I wouldn't want anyone who wanted me just to rescue me, or do 
for me, because that usually leads to controlling me.  That kind of thing 
gets old quickly for both parties.
