and, it works with the TMV71A using NVDA quite surprisingly well.  I 
made the mistake of getting the wrong software, instead for the 
Kenwood tm71A which is the multi-mode, where the TMV71A is the FM dual bander.
Makes me wonder what the TM71A multi-mode is like? :)
anyway the USB interface works well though generates a serial port 6 
on my machine, and it does interface nicely with their software.
Costs about $50 though.
