So I'm sure this won't be an Elecraft killer by anyone's stretch of the imagination, but there's apparently new Chinese HF radios coming out. CW and SSB, 0.1-30 MHz full coverage, 5 watts (and also a 20 watt version at some point, I'm reading). Priced around $300, yep, that's what it says. Super cheap way to get someone into hf radio. Sorry, no idea of accessibility, usability, or any other kind of ability, this is all I know about that. 

Also, looks like Ed at Import Communications is coming out with his own dual band HT, under his name. Sorry, again, no clue about specs or anything else. If I find out more I'll share, but here's where you can find out everything I know about it:
