Howard, I have a Kenwood ts2000 running from a home brew 24 amp power supply.

The mic connection is the one that comes on the 2000 and is unmodified.  The mic
is a Heil dx mic.

The mic has a metal case so you pretty much can't touch the mic without touching
metal except the ptt button which is plastic.

I've been careful to touch the radio itself on unpainted surfaces even to
pulling its cover and don't get a shock from it.

I'll have to do the meter measure in a couple days.  I don't have an antenna on
it right now as I have to get it back in the air which I'm hoping to do in the
next couple days when this 35mph wind we have lets up.
